Having realized the need for a more efficiently designed conveyor oven, Dave Goble, Founder and President of Avantec, began the development of Avantec Ovens in 2001. From the beginning, the goal has been to build a sustainable product that provides advantages for the operator through increased production capabilities with a smaller footprint and lower energy consumption.

Dave Goble’s lifetime of knowledge gained from working in the foodservice industry for over 30 years was vital in garnering valuable resources for the creation of his vision. The Gas Technology Institute and a team of leading airflow engineers brought Dave’s vision to life with the prototyping of what is today the Avantec Conveyor Oven line. Avantec’s design of double-belt and single-belt conveyor ovens provides flexibility, capacity, redundancy and efficiency that today’s food service operations demand and require.
